Learn To Fly Melbourne operates the largest flight training fleet of Sling 2 aircraft in Australia. The Sling 2 aircraft is a unique all-aluminium aircraft, designed by The Airplane Factory in South Africa and first produced in 2009.
The Sling 2 aircraft was first designed to be a cross country and recreational aircraft, but has proven to be an excellent training aircraft for beginners due to its amazing handling, near 360-degree panoramic visibility, 7-hour fuel range and high-performance design.

The Diamond DA42 is the newest multi-engine aircraft to join our flight training fleet. The Diamond DA42 Twin Star is a modern four seat, diesel-powered twin engine aircraft developed and manufactured by Austrian company Diamond Aircraft Industries.
It’s Garmin G1000 avionics system coupled with generous canopy visibility make this an exceptional aircraft option for twin engine flight training.
First entering service in 2002, the Diamond DA42 is highly regarded for its technology and high performance.

The Aeroprakt A-22 Foxbat is a Ukrainian designed two-seat, high-wing, tricycle landing gear ultralight aircraft. It boasts a simple 3-axis control system and utilises flaperons in place of flaps and ailerons.
