Program Overview

Teach The Pilots Of The Future
Obtaining a Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) is a rewarding and exciting challenge for any pilot. It’s an incredibly fulfilling experience to see a student that you trained fly solo for the first time. A flight instructor role can be an exciting career in itself, and it is also a great way for you to earn money and build both knowledge and Pilot in Command (PIC) hours for the next step in your aviation career.
Building Your Flying Hours & Your Career
This Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) course will offer you both the FIR and the Grade 3 Training Endorsement. The course includes 35 hours of flight training as well as comprehensive ground briefing training so that you will be able to effectively instruct in both practical and theoretical settings. We also offer the option to complete a dual General Aviation and RA-Aus qualification, so that you can teach pilots in both GA and RA-Aus registered aircraft.
Schedule a meeting with one of our aviation career specialists to discuss whether this is the right course for you.

Our Graduate
David Marien
“Like many before me, instructing is the start of my aviation career, and it’s also a great way to consolidate and expand upon the flying skills and knowledge acquired during my CPL. Learn To Fly takes a personal approach to training, and I feel like the courses I have studied were tailored to my individual strengths and weaknesses.” – David Marien, now working as a Grade 3 Flight Instructor with us
